The nearby restaurant, Kfc, was as close as 800 feet from the hotel. The staff tried to help with our transfers to the airport.

The rooms have been recently renovated. Nice rooms, breakfast fine. Lahad Datu is a typical city in Borneo, mosty chosen as starting point for a tour to Danum Valley or other wildlife ressort.
It's very noisy because direct on a main road and bad window isolation.

If you have to spend a night in Lahad Datu for whatever reason like we did, we recommend this hotel.
Wifi only worked in the corridor and one meter into the room. Sheets were not completely clean, fridge did not work and smelled really bad. Lots of noise from the street outside, sounded like there was no windows. Air con changed temp all the time between 19-26. Staffs english was not wery good.

Quite a bit of noise from the road. Could do with some sound-proofing of windows.
